The U Process

 

I began designing and facilitating workshops in 1997 for the Unipart Group at Oxford, applying learning organization theory and creative practice at every level of their organization. That contribution was featured in a Demos Report on Creativity in UK Economy Unipart U being one of their three ‘case histories’.  

Inauthenticity is the reason 80% of professional interventions fail and as a rule of thumb 90% of the problems we face are engendered by others and 10% by ourselves (Denning), so it’s leveraging that 10% that matters.

Everyone needs to leverage their own leadership capacity today, and the capacity to lead comes from exercising personal mastery. Presencing is a reliable map in that continual journey.

We offer insights, squarely based on extensive action research, informed by some hands on client work including work with teams from UnipartU,  The Academy for Chief Executives and  The House of Commons. To help you develop really solid personal mastery skills.

Each course reintegrates your experience from previous ones, generating real energy and capacity for shaping optimum futures. Each is designed and delivered with imagination, insight, skill, and care and is proven in a wide variety of settings.

 

There are three courses on offer for you to learn to practice the U Process and Presencing. 

The One Day Course

You could start to build a whole new future from attending just this single Foundation Course in the U Process and Presencing, -if you are prepared to trust and assimilate your own lessons and you commit to really using the course materials offered in a disciplined way into the future.

Creativity really is the only sustainable key for unlocking human potential. Through ‘micro’ capacity building exercises you can realize that in practice, which leads to innovation. You do not have to come with special skills or become an expert in any sense. It is about how we can begin to start paying deeper and better attention, which is what really ‘opens’ us into real awareness and increases our imagination, creating new choices.

The Two Day Course 

This course will offer you the opportunity of a deeper engagement to explore at the interface of your ‘self’ and the ‘world’ , you’ll  increase your personal confidence and your capacity.

Taking ‘field walks’ in nature and ‘learning journeys’ in built environment- you are shown how re-connecting with what is new and perhaps re-connecting with what's familiar in a new way can bring significant benefits. You'll make just three movements.

- Out of one’s habitual perception to open up to the unknown and turbulent world around you (co-sensing)

- Out of one’s habitual self to open up to one’s higher self within the whole (co-presencing)

- Out of one’s habitual actions to begin operating from a simpler, emerging future (co-creating)

The Three Day Course

This course is a deeper immersion into the techniques and insights I’ve developed since collaborating with Otto Scharmer and his associates at Generon Consulting since 2001.  

By using the key research findings and passages from the interviews with 150 global leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs and global ‘master practitioners’, your efforts are focused on learning through deepened and hightened awareness, peak-performance, grounded in personal experiences, creativity and innovation, and servant leadership.

Uniquely these courses interconnect into a larger, integrated self generating learning cycle, based on one’s ability to sense and realize emerging futures.

You will learn how some of the most successful organizations have benefited from this creative and intuitive 'technology for susainable change'.

Participants will access ‘source’ - the inner invisible place from which they operate. They will learn to pay special attention to what’s going on within and around them in ways that leads to the opening of their mind, their heart, and their will. This is an holistic process.
